This tour will take you not just to Croatia’s beautiful coast and islands, but also to her heart, the inland. The unique and harmonious blend of pristine nature and culture: the seemingly endless forests intertwined with numerous spectacular waterfalls and antique and vibrant coastal towns will leave you breathless and make your journey an unforgettable experience.

DAY 1
Arrival to Zagreb airport where you will be met and transfered to the hotel in the centre of Zagreb. Upon arrival and short break in hotel, there will be welcoming dinner where you will meet your tour leader and discuss the itinerary.

DAY 2
This extraordinary tour will start with visit to the probably most beautiful destination in the world, Plitvice Lakes National Park. There are 16 turquoise lakes, connected by series of waterfalls and cascades, all embraced by magical greenery of the beech and fir forests and meadows. There will be an organized walking tour as well as boat ride on the lakes which will take you to the most famous parts of the park. After the lunch and sightseeing, departure towards Zadar,where you will spend the night.

DAY 3
You will leave lush and relaxing greenery of Plitvice Lakes and continue your yourney towards sunny and sublime Dalmatia and the city of Zadar, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage,
from ancient period to modern times. One of the most famous contemporary architectural achievements is the first sea organs in the world. On your way to Zadar you will stop on the island of Pag where you will visit cheese factory, one of the most famous Croatian products, and in the city called Nin,an oasis of sandy beaches known for salt making. After these outstanding tours, you will proceed to the city of Split where you will stay in a hotel and have dinner

DAY 4
After breakfast and short tour of Split you will once again change city streets with mountain paths and head for one of the most beautiful mountains on the coast, Biokovo Nature Park. A guided tour will take you to the peak Vosac (1422m), where you can enjoy the stunning views of all Dalmatian islands. After short break you will continue to village Makar (300m) where you will have late lunch in traditional restaurant Mlinice. After lunch return in hotel in Makarska, where you will spend the night.

DAY 5
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Medugorje, well known catholic tourist destination and sight of Holy Mary’s apparition. You can take the private tour and go sightseeing or just sit and enjoy the spirituality and calmness of the moment. After lunch we will continue to the city of Mostar. Mostar stands in the middle of a beautiful valley bedded between high mountains as a monument to the harmonious blend of different cultures and believes, of old and new. What makes this city known is its famous bridge, The Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was bult during the Ottoman Empire by the great architect Mimar Hajrudin who had succeded in the impossible mission of crossing the Neretva River with a single span stone bridge. Your accommodation will be organised in a hotel called Old town, where the hospitality of your hosts and traditional dishes will just sweep you off your feet.

DAY 6
Continue your journey further to the city of Dubrovnik, the pearl of Adriatic. On the way to Dubrovnik you will make a stop in the city of Ston, famous for its oysters and salt, the most famous products of this area, and for its city walls, the second biggest walls in the world. There you will enjoy specialty dishes with fresh oysters and taste samo of the first class red wines of Pelješac peninsula. After lunch you will continue to Dubrovnik, a truly stunning city with its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. A magnificent curtain of walls surrounds marble streets and baroque buildings that exude a pearly light in the Adriatic sun. Lunch will be served in one of the exquisite family restaurants in Mali Ston serving traditional seafood dishes, especially oysters.

DAY 7
Check out from the hotel; Transfer to Split where you will have an individual lunch and the remainder of the day free for sightseeing or shopping.

Arrival into Istria, check in to your accommodation in romantic city of Rovinj. (Arriving during the day, from previous destination).
Take a short trip to the south of Istrian peninsula and discover historical wonders of Pula, followed by a lesson in how to make “liquid gold”, which is the Ancient nickname for olive oil. Vodnjan region boasts several small producers of the finest extra virgin olive oil in the world. Chiavalon/Brist/Balija.
Relaxing evening in Rovinj.
Visit to family of truffle hunters (Karlić), where you will learn all about this illusive and expensive underground mushroom, taste different truffle delicacies, followed by an exciting truffle hunt in forests around Motovun and Lake Butonigla.
Finishing the day off with some of the finest Croatian brandies in distillery Aura in Buzet. Besides 17 different kinds of flavoured brandy, you can also try chocolate with local herbs and their famous jams made of local fruit only.
Return to Rovinj.
Check out around 10am. Transfer to Slovenia, with two more stops in Istra on the way. Grožnjan, a medieval town turned into a full time art colony, and Veralda, a renowned winery that also offers some of the best homemade meals you will ever taste.
Crossing the border and driving up, through the countryside and into the heart of Slovenia, until we reach family eco farm Hudičevec, near Postojna. Meet the host family and their 10 children, big estate with horses, cows, sheep and donkeys and taste their organic product – meat, fruit, vegetables, honey and more.
Proceed to Ljubljana (40 min). Check in and overnight.
Two hour tour of Slovenian capital with a local guide. At noon, the driver will take you to beautiful Lake Bled, only 40 minutes away. Breathtakingly beautiful, Bled is a perfect place for active afternoon on and around the lake, walking, rowing and hiking in untouched nature. Finishing the day in nearby estate (former stable turned exclusive restaurant) Vila Podvin – for a 4 course gourmet dinner, before returning to Ljubljana. Free evening in Ljubljana.
